Aviation
You can fly to Klagenfurt Airport directly from the airports of Vienna, Cologne or London/Stansted.
The Airports of Ljubljana, Trieste and Graz are between 100-150km away with connections from and to Klagenfurt by bus and train. The airports of Salzburg, Venice and Treviso are also well connected to Klagenfurt by bus and train.
Railway
The Klagenfurt Central Station lies at one of the main train routes in Austria, the Southern Railway which connected Vienna with Trieste until 1923. There are direct connections from and to Vienna, Munich and Rome amongst others.
Public transport
